Top 5 Social Networking Apps on iOS in Slovakia Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, Slovakia's iOS social networking landscape showcased notable trends among the top five applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited varied performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Threads from Instagram, Inc. saw fluctuating download numbers, peaking at around 7.6K by the end of September. Despite no revenue generation, its weekly active users experienced a gradual rise from approximately 74.9K at the start of July to 71.7K by the end of the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger from WhatsApp Inc. maintained a stable revenue stream, with weekly earnings hovering around $50 to $63. Downloads showed a significant increase, reaching nearly 3.8K in the last week of September. Weekly active users remained consistently high, ending the quarter at about 331.8K.

Facebook, published by Meta Platforms, Inc., demonstrated significant revenue fluctuations, peaking at approximately $1.3K in early September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 2.1K in mid-September. Weekly active users, however, showed minor variations, consistently remaining around 400K.

Messenger also from Meta Platforms, Inc., experienced a decline in revenue, starting at $36 and dropping to $17 by the end of September. Download numbers rose, reaching 2K in early September, while weekly active users slightly decreased from 295K to 294.4K over the quarter.

Lastly, Telegram Messenger from Telegram FZ-LLC reported revenue growth, peaking at $3.6K in late September. Downloads saw a modest increase, fluctuating around 1.7K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users hovered around 47K, with minor fluctuations throughout the period.
